CR73 – Buffalo Park to SH74. This project is currently a planned T&E project with federal funding. Reconstruct the roadway to install curb and gutter, sidewalk, and paved shoulders along CR73 from SH74 to Buffalo Park Rd. (By Jefferson County) Planned for Summer 2025

Meadow Drive from Douglas Park Road to Timbervale Drive to Hwy 74 - Improving pedestrian access and roadway safety, installing 4' paved shoulders on both sides along Meadow Drive; improving access to Denver Mountain Park trails. Creating a pedestrian connection from Hiwan History Museum to local businesses and Hwy. 74 by installing approximately 3600' of sidewalk . Installing ADA curb ramps, curb and gutter, and further defining and improving commercial access, drainage improvements and modifications. Bumped from 2025 to 2026

Improving walkability between Elks Club and Center Stage - Installing shoulders along Iris Drive and Fireweed Drive to improve pedestrian use between local businesses and community centers to accommodate shared parking. Installing roadway striping as a traffic-calming measure. Evaluating the intersection of Iris Drive and Fireweed Drive. Bumped from 2025 to 2026

Approved ELID Projects
(Evergreen Local Improvement District)
Here is the list (downloadable PowerPoint) of the 17 projects across Evergreen that were approved to be constructed over the next 10 years and funded by ELF (with support from a variety of grants). This list was created after many years of community forums and feedback. Jeffco determines which projects on the Evergreen Legacy Fund wish-list can be completed, and fixes the timeline for those projects. This shows the 17 Approved 2020 ELID Projects in the order decided on by the Jeffco Board of County Commissioners (i.e., not in numerical order).

​South Hatch Drive—Installed appx. 200’ of sidewalk along Hatch Dr. from the entrance to Wilmot Elementary School to Buffalo Park Rd. Connect to existing sidewalk at Wilmot Elementary School and install ADA curb ramps at the school site entrance. Phase One completed Summer 2024

Contributed $5,000 to Leadership Evergreen class project -- a mural on the Century Link Building on Lower Main Street. Completed 2024

Bergen Parkway at Sugarbush Drive Intersection Pedestrian Improvements. The project replaced the concrete islands and corner ramps at the intersection. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps and crosswalks were installed, and the islands are larger, creating a safer pedestrian crossing at the intersection. Asphalt for the entire intersection was replaced, repaved, and restriped. The traffic configuration with the four-way stop did change. Completed 2023

​Evergreen Parks and Recreation District to use $50,000 in matching ELF funds to secure and complete the Evergreen Lake North Trail. Completed Summer 2023

"Evergreen Blooms at the Dam" Mural done by the EHS Mural Club (Metro Building). Completed Fall 2022

River Walk – Added sidewalk, signage & striping to make traffic one-way; additional parking. Completed in October 2021 with $135,000 in matching grant money from CDOT's Revitalizing Main Streets program
